Yesterday, Ladies’ Home Journal announced that it would be folding up it’s monthly service magazine and converting LHJ into a quarterly, newsstand-only publication. Its owner, the Meredith Corporation, announced that the July 2014 issue will be the last published issue to be sent out to subscribers.
The news comes shockingly to subscribers as it has been published as a monthly for over 130 years. However, Ad Age does report that the website will continue to publish.
How do you feel about this? Does it make that much of a difference given the fact that much of the world has already moved into the digital era?
